The Subdoshas of Kapha

In this third and final episode on the subdoshas, Colette discusses the five subdohas of Kapha which include:

  • Tarpaka

  • Bodhaka

  • Avalambaka

  • Kledaka

  • Shleshaka

The Kapha dosha is comprised of earth and water elements and is responsible for construction, lubrication, nourishment, cohesion and stabilisation in the body. Colette shares the wisdom from Ayurveda about where these five subdoshas are located and how they help Kapha to carry out these responsibilities.
